WHAT IS GIVING TUESDAY?

Giving Tuesday is the international day of giving. It’s a chance to show support for UCR as the entire Highlander community joins together on one day to raise money for our students and programs. Students, alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends will make a gift of any size to the fund or program of their choice, and encourage others to give through email, social media, phone, or word of mouth.

Tuesday, December 3, 2019 (12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.)

WHAT DOES MY GIFT SUPPORT?

You decide what your gift supports at UCR. Return to the Home page to choose a campaign that you’re most interested in.

I DON’T SEE MY FAVORITE FUND?

If you would like to support a specific fund not featured on the site, please visit givenow.ucr.edu and find your favorite fund. All gifts no matter the fund will be counted towards our total gifts and dollars raised for #GIVINGTUEUCR.

HOW DO I MAKE MY GIFT?

To make a gift during #GIVINGTUEUCR, go to dayofgiving.ucr.edu, click the “Give” button, and follow the directions provided.

After making your gift, you can motivate others to give by sharing with your friends. Scroll to the blue Share this Campaign box for a short URL, or to share a UCR Day of Giving message on social media.

IS THERE A MINIMUM DONATION AMOUNT?

Yes, there is a minimum gift of $5.00 to participate.

Yes. You will receive a tax receipt via email after you make a gift.

Thank you! #GIVINGTUEUCR is a 24-hour event and we are counting the total number of donors and dollars raised in this time frame. We invite you to make an additional gift on this special day!

CAN ANYONE PARTICIPATE IN GIVING TUESDAY?

Absolutely. Support from everyone in the UCR community (alumni, friends, family, faculty, staff, and students) counts on this day.

HOW CAN I HELP SPREAD THE WORD?

Your voice makes #GIVINGTUEUCR a success. Post about #GIVINGTUEUCR on all of your social networks.

IS MY PAYMENT SECURE?

Yes. All payments will be processed using a secure online giving form. The information collected during #GIVINGTUEUCR will be used only by University of California, Riverside
